St Paul Schools
St. Paul, KS is centrally located between Pittsburg, Parsons, and Chanute in southeast Kansas. It is a thriving town and community with much to offer. St. Paul is known to fill the bleachers and gymnasiums to watch athletic contests, music programs, annual Veterans Day performance, or other extra-curricular activities. The community and school are very much a partnership in educating our students.
For more than a century and a half, education has been a priority in St. Paul. The first settlement on these grounds, even prior to statehood, was for the purpose of educating the original inhabitants at the Osage Mission, founded by the Jesuits and the Sisters of Loreto. That long tradition still lives in our current schools, thanks to a community that supports hard work and high expectations.
It is our goal to provide a positive environment which offers every student the opportunity to receive the best education possible, Pre-School through 12th grade. Students are involved in making positive decisions in life-long and leadership roles in society. As a small school we are able to put students in leadership roles and monitor individual student growth, while offering a high quality curriculum delivered by a dedicated professional staff. All classrooms are equipped with high-speed internet and smart boards. In 2013 the local school board adopted a one-to-one iPad initiative for every high school student. The elementary and middle schools each have access to iPad carts. All students have access to one of three computer labs and a large media center that offers students numerous resources.
When looking for a well-rounded and high quality education for you student(s) look no further than St. Paul Schools. The one on one attention your child will receive along with opportunities to participate and learn new skills will open doors to many future successes. Join us in shouting our Indian Pride across southeast Kansas!
