Chetopa Teachers to Present at the MACE Technology Conference

Debbie Withington and Jennifer Claibourn will be presenting at the Mid-American Association for Computers in Education this year. The conference will be held at Kansas State University on March 1,2, 2012. Withington and Claibourn will present a session entitled ‘Great Apps for the ipad and Great Websites’. Mrs. Withington teaches junior high Science, and Mrs. Claibourn teaches junior high Math. Both teachers have been a part of a TRC (Technology Rich Classroom) Grant. The grant has allowed junior high students at Chetopa to have a one to one laptop initiative and classroom ipads. The teachers have received training as part of the grant and then passed this knowledge on to their students and other teachers.
