St. Paul Girls Remain Undefeated

ST. PAUL: The St. Paul High School girls' basketball team remains undefeated (24-0) as they head into state action at Gross Memorial Coliseum on the campus of Fort Hays State University. The team beat Waverly and Hutchinson Central Christian at the southeast sub-state to earn a berth at state. The Indians are ranked third in the tournament. The Indians will face 6th seeded Tribune (20-5) in first round action at 8:15 PM, on Wednesday, March 10. Other state 1A qualifiers are 1st seeded South Gray (25-0), Argonia (2nd seed, 25-0), St. John-Hudson (4th ranked, 24-1), 5th ranked Frankfort (23-2), Lincoln (18-7 and seeded 7th), and Wilson (ranked 8th, 17-8). The girls are coached by Doug Tuck who is assisted by Adam Burke. Good luck, Indians!
