KMEA State Band

CHETOPA: Congratulations are in order to Nick L. He made 1st Alternate for the State 1234A Band. There are only four euphoniums selected for the band from across the state so even though he didn't make it in to the band, receiving 1st alternate is quite an achievement and honor. (Being 5th in the state for 1234A schools isn't too shabby!) He worked very hard preparing for the audition and I know it has to be disappointing to be that close to making the band. So if you see him, congratulate him on his achievement.
